The poem Keeping the Faith Beyond Anaheim Street by Jeffrey C Alfier, published in the current issue of Pushing Out the Boat,  was selected as our entry to the ‘Best Single Poem’ category of the Forward Prizes 2014. The Forward shortlist will be announced in May 2014: work by all shortlisted and highly commended poets will be published in September in the annual Forward Book of Poetry.
