  • Contact subscribers with news and information regarding Pushing Out the Boat events and activities
  • Correspond with specific individuals on POTB business, eg organisation of events, sales of POTB, writing articles for the POTB Blog, etc

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to manage our mailing lists. Data stored there is securely managed in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) – see MailChimp’s privacy notice for more information. You can unsubscribe from a list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of one of our emails or by emailing info@pushingouttheboat.co.uk

  • We do not collect any financial details; visitors choosing to purchase through our PayPal option will be transferred to the PayPal website where transactions are covered by the PayPal Privacy Policy

Data collected from those who submit entries to the magazine:

  • Name
  • Contact information including email address, postal address and phone number
  • Other information relevant to the magazine submission

We use this data to:

  • Correspond with submitters regarding their submission(s) to the magazine
  • Add details of those whose submissions are accepted for publication to our mailing list of POTB contributors

From members of the POTB Team:

  • Name
  • Contact information including email address, postal address and phone number
  • Other information relevant to the member’s role in the team

We use this data to:

  • Correspond with members regarding POTB business
  • Maintain membership records in accordance with the requirements of our registration as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).
